About The Family Star Movie
Parasuram wrote and directed The Family Star, a 2024 Indian Telugu-language romantic action drama film produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in prominent roles.
The film was officially announced in February 2023 with the preliminary title VD11, as it is Vijay’s 11th film as the lead actor, and the actual title was revealed in October 2023. Principal photography began in July 2023. It was shot intermittently over several legs, with locations including Hyderabad and New York. Gopi Sundar composed the film’s music.
Family Star was originally supposed to be released on Sankranthi, but it was postponed to prevent competing with Sankranthi films. The Family Star received mostly poor responses.
Vijay Deverakonda
Deverakonda Vijay Sai (born May 9, 1989), sometimes known as Vijay Deverakonda[1], is an Indian actor and film producer who primarily works in Telugu cinema.He is one of Telugu cinema’s highest-paid actors, having appeared on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2018 and receiving numerous awards such as a Filmfare Award, a Nandi Award, and two SIIMA Awards.
Deverakonda made his film debut with Nuvvila (2011) and was praised for his performance in the coming-of-age movie Yevade Subramanyam (2015). He rose to recognition as a main film actor after appearing in the blockbusters Pelli Choopulu (2016) and Arjun Reddy (2017), receiving the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu for his portrayal of a temperamental surgeon in the latter. He further established himself commercially.
Govardhan Rao and Madhavi gave birth to Deverakonda Vijay Sai in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana). His family is from Thummanpeta hamlet in the former Mahbubnagar district (now Nagarkurnool). His father was a television serial director who stopped doing them owing to lack of success.
Vijay completed his education at Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School in Puttaparthi. He then attended Intermediate at Little Flower Junior College in Hyderabad. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Badruka College of Commerce and Arts. His younger brother, Anand Devarakonda, is a Telugu film actor.
